About the Practitioner

With a Bachelor's and Master's degree in biology, Leah's interest and knowledge of the body began long before her formal massage training.  She completed the Professional Massage Therapy program at the Arizona School of Massage Therapy in Tempe, Arizona in 2006.  Upon relocating to California in 2007, she began studying anatomy and completed further training in deep tissue and injury massage in Santa Cruz.

In 2008, she started annual trips to Asia to study Thai massage and Osteothai, a blend of subtle European osteopathic techniques with traditional Thai massage.  She continues to travel to Asia, Europe and around the country to study and assist her teachers in courses.

Leah began training in FST (Frederick Stretch Therapy - formerly Fascial Stretch Therapy) in 2013, a unique system of assisted stretching that targets the fascial lines of the body and was developed by and for athletes.  FST is beneficial to anyone looking for increased flexibility and ease of movement.

She is also certified in Functional Range Conditioning (FRC) and Functional Range Release, a science-based system of mobility and manual therapy work.

Leah offers bodywork in Capitola, California.
