Welcome!
Leah has been studying and practicing bodywork since 2006. With an extensive knowledge of deep tissue techniques, training in FST (Frederick Stretch Therapy), and years of experience studying and teaching Thai massage and Osteothai (a blend of Osteopathic techniques with Thai massage), movement plays a central role in her work to eliminate pain and dysfunction. She is certified in Functional Range Conditioning and Functional Range Release, a science-based system of mobility and manual therapy work, and has a B.S. in Biology from the University of Wisconsin, and a M.S. in Water Resource Sciences from the University of Minnesota. She is a movement enthusiast, and shares a healthy obsession with sunshine, travel, and handstands.
In addition to traditional bodywork sessions, Leah also offers individualized mobility assessment and training incorporating FRC concepts and skills learned from her movement, hand balancing, and circus teachers.
